Some officials of the Rivers State Taskforce on Illegal Parking and Street Trading and Bus drivers plying the Mile 3 to Choba route were embroiled in a fist fight, today.

The incident, occurred this morning at NTA road close to Jorax Fuel station in Port Harcourt.

A driver who spoke to us, said one of their colleagues had parked off the road to drop a passenger, when the Taskforce officials in a White Hilux, blocked him, and accused him of illegal parking.

He said seeing what was happening, other drivers decided to intervene in the matter because their colleague had done nothing wrong.

According to him, the officials deflated two of the drivers tyres, and threatened to shoot him if he tried to stop them.

He explained that it took the intervention of OSPAC officials in the area for normalcy to return.

This was after the OSPAC officials confirmed that the driver parked properly and ordered the taskforce officials to leave the area.

You would recall that a driver identified as Biggy, was last year killed by Taskforce officials during a fight.
