Wike, who commended his Oyo state counterpart, Seyi Makinde for ensuring that power shifted to the South, said those who fight for change may not be beneficiaries but, maintained that history will be kind to him and others.
According to him, power should be rotated between the North and South as it does not need to be written down anywhere.
“I have told people that those who fight for change, who fight for revolution may not be directed beneficiaries of that fight but today, history has it that all of us now are aware that when power finishes from the south, it will go to the north; when it finishes from the north, it will come to the south,” he said.
He assured Oyo people that Makinde will deliver more projects in his second term, and hailed the governor for being a true ally and brother.
He also advised Oyo people to start using the old naira notes inline with the ruling of the Supreme Court.
The Apex court few hours ago nullified the Naira redesign policy of the Federal Government and ordered that the old naira notes be circulation till December 31 2023.
