Some members of the Rivers State House of Assembly led by Hon. Martin Amaewhule today held plenary at the Assembly complex despite a court order restraining them from doing so.
The lawmakers during plenary elected Hon. Major Jack representing Akuku-Toru as new Leader of the House.
The lawmakers numbering 25 also passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of Hon. Martin Amaewhule as Speaker of the House.
