The immediate past minister of Transport and former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi has Today alleged that Governor Nyesom Wike had knowledge of the recently recovered Legacy 600 aircraft. Amaechi made this claim during a conversation in the White House Family room on the voice-based social network, Clubhouse.
Hon. Amaechi during the conversation claimed that as a governor he had no knowledge of how the aircraft was maintained and that he only approved documents from the Ministry of Transportation. In his words:

Recall that last week, a Legacy 600 aircraft allegedly abandoned in Germany under unclear circumstances by the preceding administration had been recovered and flown back to Rivers.
Governor Wike stated that the recovered aircraft was abandoned at the General Atomics Aerotec in Munich, Germany by the Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Ameachi’s administration since 2012. Wike further said that they had no knowledge of the aircraft until his administration received intelligence that there was a state asset “somewhere”.
