The Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Amasenibo Abinye Blessing Pepple, has extended an additional ₦2.5 million in welfare support to five elderly citizens of the area, with each beneficiary receiving ₦500,000.
Office of Media and Communications, Bonny Local Government Council made this known in a statement on Thursday.
It said, the support is part of the chairman’s continued welfare assistance to elderly residents of Bonny.
The beneficiaries are Mrs. Patience R. I. Manilla Pepple, Isaac A. Pepple, Matilda Omoni John-Jumbo, Grace Konye Jack Wilson Pepple and Mrs. Miranda Jumbo (née Pepple).
The funds were presented on behalf of the chairman by Mrs. Rebecca Banigo, Protocol Officer II of Bonny Local Government Area.
