The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau, NSIB, says the Data Recorder, FDR, and Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) of the crashed helicopter in Bonny has been recovered.
Mrs Bimbo Oladeji – NSIB’s Director, Public Affairs and Family Assistance, Mrs Bimbo made this known in a statement on Friday..
According to her, the device would undergo data extraction and analysis by NSIB’s specialists.
She said the device is crucial in helping investigators analyse flight performance and cockpit communications to determine the sequence of events leading up to the accident.
