Victor Tobin – a student of the Rivers State University, who was reportedly assaulted by members of the Man O’ War on campus has narrated his ordeal.
Tobin in a statement shortly after the incident said he was beaten for walking on the pavement of the Man O’ War building.
According to him, when the officials approached him over the act, he apologized to them, but they ignored his pleas and ordered him to sit on the floor.
He further narrated that he refused to obey the order and they attacked him.
The incident left the student injured in the eye.
Meanwhile, the school management in a statement said it is meeting to resolve the issue.
