Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere of Omega Power Ministries, says the rate at which citizens are kidnapped and taken to Igbo-Etche for ritual purposes is unbelievable and alarming.
The cleric made this known in a statement on his Facebook page yesterday.
He also explained that the only way to stop kidnapping in the state is for security operatives to raid all forest in Igbo-Etche.
“The rate innocent citizens are kidnapped and taken to Igbo-Etche for ritual purpose is unbelievable,” he said.
“The only way to stop kidnapping in Rivers state. Police should raid all forest in Igbo-Etche, if possible burn down all forest there,” he added.
There have been reports of kidnapping and armed robbery incidents in the area lately.
