The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has released the list of cleared and uncleared aspirants ahead of the party’s senatorial primary election scheduled for Monday, May 18, 2026.
In a press release dated May 17, 2026, the party said the list was issued by the national leadership of the APC as part of preparations for the primary election in Rivers State.
The statement, signed by the Rivers State APC Publicity Secretary, Chibike G. Ikenga, said the publication was necessary to guide aspirants and party members ahead of the exercise.
According to the statement, party faithful and aspirants are expected to take note of the list and comply with the directives of the party leadership.
The APC added that the release of the list was also aimed at guiding unsuspecting party members and ensuring clarity in the conduct of the senatorial primaries.
The party further noted that the official list of cleared and uncleared aspirants was attached to the statement for public notice.
