The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Siminalayi Fubara as the collation officer for the party’s presidential primary election in Rivers State scheduled for Saturday.
The party disclosed this in a statement announcing the appointment of collation officers across the states for the exercise.
According to the APC, governors and other party leaders have been assigned to oversee and collate results in their respective states to ensure a smooth and transparent primary process.
The presidential primary is expected to be contested between incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Stanley Usifo.
Party faithful across the country are expected to participate in the exercise as the APC moves to select its presidential candidate ahead of the 2027 general election.
