Former Attorney General of Rivers State, Hon. Worgu Boms has said that there is a fig tree in Rivers APC hindering the party from contesting and winning elections in the state.
Boms, made this known during a rally by supporters of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen. Magnus Abe in Obio/Akpor local government area, on Thursday.
According to him, Rivers APC is ready to win the 2023 elections in the state, adding that Magnus Abs is most qualified to occupy Brick House.
The former Rivers Attorney, revealed that in 2014 after Sen. Abe was shot, then Governor of the state Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi confessed that the bullet was meant for him.
He stated that Ibim Seminitari on the instructions of Amaechi issued a press statement, declaring that Abe took his bullet.
He also said Abe was ready to lay down his life for the former governor and current Minister of Transportation.
Boms, said this in reaction to rumors making the rounds that Abe never loved Amaechi.
He called on Rivers people to support Abe to emerge governor of the state come 2023.
