The South South Port Harcourt Zone of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, has explained what electricity consumers with complaint should do.
Acting zonal Coordinator of FCCPC, Johnson Osi in a statement on Tuesday, said aggrieved consumers with genuine complaint, should put it in writing and address it to the “zonal coordinator South South Zone.”
He said the letter should be photocopied and submitted why the consumer keeps the original copy.
According to him, the FCCPC, would then write to the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, attaching the photocopied letter.
He advised aggrieved electricity consumers to make their grievances known to the commission, and not take laws into their hands, no matter what the issues are.
