A group known as Bridging Initiative in Ahaoda East Local Government Area, Rivers State has called on Governor Nyesom Wike and relevant security agencies to investigate the alleged burying of a baby alive and the killing of two persons in the community.
Leader of the group, Ngono Ngono in a statement yesterday, condemned what he describes as the act of Voodoo practices in the land.
He called on the relevant agencies to wade into the matter before it snowballs into a major crises, and ensure the arrest of all those found wanting.
He also said all hands must be on deck to prevent a repeat of the crises that misplaced persons from the community in 2014, until Wike ensured peace returned when he assumed office in 2015.
Ngono said they will resist all plans to sabotage the peace efforts of the Governor in the community.
