The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State has announced a 36-member State Executive Committee headed by Chief Engr. (Dr.) Chukwudi Dimkpa.
The newly constituted leadership team is expected to steer the affairs of the party in the state ahead of future political engagements, with a structure that spans key administrative, legal, youth, women, and welfare positions.
Mrs. Beatrice Amobi Dappa was named State Deputy Chairman, while Chief Lazarus Damabara, Okeya Anthony Ndubuisi, and Hon. Ledum Kiele will serve as State Vice Chairmen.
Other principal officers include Hon. Sam Sam Etetegwung as State Secretary and Bekee Ibuchi Stephen as Assistant Secretary. Showers Benjamin was appointed Treasurer, with Mr. Emmanuel Nnah as Assistant Treasurer.
Pastor Daere Samuel-Horsfall emerged as State Organising Secretary, assisted by Hon. Theophilus Akugbo, while Mene LeBari Piate will serve as Financial Secretary alongside Mr. Lucky Onwumelu as Assistant Financial Secretary.
In the area of communications, Chizi Enyi Esq. was named Publicity Secretary, with Helen Clifford as Assistant. Ifeanyichukwu Dike will serve as Legal Adviser, supported by Napoleon Ikiroma, Esq.
The executive committee also includes Paul Ngbah as Auditor and Chief Christian I. H. Bolo-Luka as Assistant Auditor.
In the women and youth categories, Mrs. Irene Kaladappa Jumbo was appointed Woman Leader, with Ledee Tornwe as Assistant, while Omiete Yellowe and Jenewari Frank Thomas will serve as Youth Leader and Assistant Youth Leader respectively.
High Chief Mike Oyiakhire was named Welfare/Social Secretary, assisted by Egbagiri Ode Lawrence, while Jyke Abbey will coordinate INEC liaison matters.
The committee further includes Ibitoru Green as PWD Leader and Ebere Ajie as Deputy PWD Leader, alongside Akor Chidi Chime as Chief Whip and Uwasanim Silas Abadi as Assistant Chief Whip.
Six ex-officio members were also listed, including Hon. Sherry Ogbaga, Chief Uchenna Cletus Animalu, Felix Agha, Hajia Rabiat Mohammed, Jude Joseph, and Mrs. Ijeoma Ukpabi.
The party leadership expressed confidence that the new executive will strengthen its grassroots presence and position the ADC for electoral success in Rivers State.
