The leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), led by David Mark, on Wednesday staged a protest at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja, demanding his recognition as the legitimate national chairman of the party.
The protest drew a large turnout of party leaders and members, who gathered to press their demands before the electoral body.
During the demonstration, the ADC leadership also called for the removal of the INEC Chairman, citing a lack of confidence in his leadership.
In addition, the party urged the judiciary to safeguard democracy in the country.
