The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced the winners of its Rivers State House of Assembly primary elections ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement released by the party, the ADC unveiled candidates who emerged victorious across the 32 state constituencies in Rivers State following the conduct of the primaries.
Among those elected are Odihomin Adieubo Nwadigi for Abua/Odual Constituency with 1,200 votes, Peter Ogbani for Ahoada East 1 with 2,310 votes, and Joram I. Eze for Ahoada East 2 after polling 3,015 votes.
Other winners include Asueifien Tayo Osu for Ahoada West, Roosevelt Jack for Akuku-Toru 1, Asemebo Charles for Akuku-Toru 2, Okeipiriye Tom-George for Asari-Toru 1, and West Okorinama for Asari-Toru 2.
In Andoni Constituency, Gladday Gogo Gladday emerged victorious with 3,201 votes, while Hart Jonathan Puma secured the Bonny Constituency ticket with 3,153 votes. Lawson Winifred Alfred won the Degema Constituency primary with 2,190 votes.
Gabriel Oluka clinched the Eleme Constituency ticket with 5,901 votes, while Wosu Ugo Young emerged winner in Emohua after polling 5,251 votes.
For Etche Constituencies 1 and 2, Ebereonwu Kenneth E. and Agbam Thankgod M. emerged candidates respectively, while Nubari Dominic Satah won the Gokana Constituency primary with 7,009 votes.
Jeffrey Wobodo O. secured the Ikwerre Constituency ticket with 11,611 votes, one of the highest tallies recorded in the exercise.
In Khana, Bright Tsaro Nulee won Khana 1 with 7,463 votes, while Juliet Waazor Laba emerged winner for Khana 2 with 4,847 votes.
The party also announced Benjaminn Chinwoh as winner for Obio/Akpor 1 with 9,420 votes and Leslie Chigor Wali for Obio/Akpor 2 after polling 3,989 votes.
For Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Constituencies 1 and 2, Masi Prince Ernest and Uba Onyeka emerged winners respectively, while Owubo Jordan Owubo clinched the Ogu/Bolo ticket with 1,270 votes.
Tamuno B. Belema won the Okrika Constituency primary with 5,700 votes, while Ojiegbe Onyekachi secured victory in Omuma with 2,570 votes.
In Opobo/Nkoro, Fubara N. Alapuberesika emerged candidate with 1,650 votes, while Azuh Ifeannnyi Peter won the Oyigbo Constituency primary after polling 3,670 votes.
For the Port Harcourt constituencies, Ordinance O. Emeji emerged winner for Port Harcourt 1 with 8,102 votes, Daddy Kelvin Gigi won Port Harcourt 2 with 5,003 votes, while Annne Trayte secured the Port Harcourt 3 ticket with 4,300 votes.
Geregeregia Promise also emerged winner of the Tai Constituency primary with 4,109 votes.
The ADC said all the candidates were duly elected to fly the party’s flag in the forthcoming Rivers State House of Assembly elections.
