The Chairman of Abua-Odual Local Government Council, Daniel O. Daniel has ordered the disbursement of grants to over 3,000 students of the LGA.
Media aide to the council boss, Zimani Iwariso made the disclosure to news correspondents yesterday.
He said the essence of the grant is to assist the students academically, which will in turn cushion the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on their parents and guardians.
He noted that the students will receive the grants before school activities resumes on October 5, 2020.
