The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has reacted to claims made by Governor Nyesom Wike that former Governor Chibuike Amaechi had been indicted by a panel of inquiry on misappropriation of funds. Wike had made the claim during a live television interview yesterday.
Factional Spokesperson of the party in the state, Ogbonna Nwuke denied the claims by the governor in a statement yesterday.
Nwuke stated that all financial transactions done under Amaechi, followed due process. He also stated that Wike’s unfounded allegations against Amaechi was due to the fact that he lost some of his allies to the APC recently.
