The Radiology Department of the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) has announced a 50 per cent discount on mammograms and breast ultrasound scans for women above 40 years as part of activities marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The hospital said the discounted screening services will be available throughout October, from Mondays to Fridays, at the hospital’s Radiology Department.
It said the initiative is aimed at encouraging women in the eligible age group to undergo regular breast cancer screening and promote early detection.
The services include breast mammography and ultrasound scans, with the discount running from October 1 to October 31, 2026.
