Nollywood actor and Lagos politician, Desmond Elliot, has apologised to the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, following actions that reportedly strained their relationship during the state’s recent political developments.
In a video shared online over the weekend, Elliot was seen going on his knees as he pleaded with Gbajabiamila for forgiveness, addressing the former lawmaker as “my daddy.”
The apology comes months after Elliot reportedly went against Gbajabiamila’s position on his bid to return for a fourth term as the lawmaker representing Surulere I Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Reports had indicated that Gbajabiamila backed a female candidate for the seat, a position Elliot openly opposed as he insisted on seeking another term in office.
