Fintech company, OPay, has dismissed a viral report claiming that it would suspend or halt its operations by September.
In a statement shared on its official communication channels, the company assured customers that it remains fully operational and has no plans to go on break.
“OPay is not going on break by September. We’re here, and we’re going nowhere!” the company said.
OPay also urged users to be cautious of false information, noting that its genuine users could identify its official communications.
The fintech firm advised the public to scrutinise the viral post, which it said contained several red flags, and to always verify information before sharing it.
It further encouraged customers to rely on its official pages for authentic updates and announcements.
