Environmental Activist – Celestine Akpobari has called on governor, Sim Fubara to set up a panel to investigate claims by Hon. Boma Goodhead, lawmaker representing Akuku Toru/Asari Toru Federal Constituency that former governor of the state, Nyesom Wike carted away $300,000,000 meant for the Ogoni Clean Up exercise.
Akpobari who made this known in a statement said the matter should not be swept under the carpet as it is capable of causing crisis in Ogoni land.
He also said the allegation; coming from a high ranking public officer and key member of the PDP should not be ignored.
Recall that Hon. Boma had during a solidarity walk in support of Gov. Fubara in Port Harcourt accused the FCT of stealing the funds released for the Clean Up.
