Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Hon. Kingsley Chinda has pledged to serve the people of the state “with the fear of God and mankind” if elected governor.
Chinda, an ally of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, made the pledge in a post on X as he officially kick-started his campaign for the forthcoming governorship election.
The former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives shared a campaign flyer announcing the commencement of his campaign and soliciting the support of Rivers residents.
Chinda is regarded as one of the prominent contenders in the race to succeed Governor Siminalayi Fubara, with his candidacy enjoying the backing of Wike and members of the Rainbow Coalition.
