The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has called for the unconditional release of her members arrested before and during last Saturday’s elections.
Publicity Secretary of the party, Darlington Nwauju in a statement said some candidates of the party, collation agents and party agents were arrested by security operatives before and during the elections.
He said their only offence was coming out to defend their votes and democracy, accusing security operatives of aiding the ruling party to rig the elections.
Nwauju, described the elections as a sham, and a failure on the part of INEC and security agencies.
