House of Assembly candidate for Asari-Toru Constituency 11 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Okorinama West has raised an alarm over plots to arrest him and some of his supporters before next saturday’s governorship and state House of Assembly elections.
West, popularly known as shaggy in a statement yesterday said the intention of those behind the evil plot is to keep him in detention till after the elections.
According to him, after their plans to assassinate him failed, his enemies now want to use the Police to bring him down over trumped up charges.
He called on the security agencies not to be used against the opposition, noting that elections should be free, fair and credible.
West, further called on the International Community to come to his aide.
