Nigerian Singer, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has revealed why he has not been vocal about the 2023 elections, and why he has no preferred candidate after he was called out by Nigerians on social media.
The Grammy award winner in a post on Instagram yesterday, said he has no candidate because he does not believe in any of them.
According to him, he has never supported any political party or candidate in his life as he does not want to make anybody vote and then blame him later when the candidate fails to deliver.
His statement reads,
“i dunno why it’s such a big deal to some Nigerians that I’ve not been vocal bout the elections.
“Personally I dont have a candidate that I believe in.
“I’ve never supported any political party or candidate in my life because I don’t want to make you vote and then blame me when the person bleeps up as usual.
“That being said, I hope all votes count and the best man wins.”
