The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has urged parents/guardians to be vigilant and check for small, decorative bottles in the bags or pockets of their children/wards.
The Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, made this known in a statement on Sunday.
He said the bottles are reportedly being used to package a substance known as Loud/Colos, particularly among youths in the affluent areas of Lekki, Ikoyi, and Victoria Island in Lagos.
Femi also said that the substances are sold at a considerable price, with each bottle fetching around 15,000 Naira.
“Heads up to parents. Please watch out for these fanciful small bottles in the bags/pockets of your kids.
“They’re now being used to package Loud/Colos for our youths, especially those in the Lekki/Ikoyi/VI axis of Lagos.
“Each goes for 15k. #ndlea_nigeria already making arrests &seizures” he said.
