Activist Aisha Yesufu has declared she would firmly oppose Peter Obi if he becomes president and attempts to serve beyond a single term.
Speaking during an interview on Arise Television on Monday, Yesufu stressed that Obi must keep his long-standing pledge to serve only one term if elected.
She warned that any move to extend his tenure would be met with strong resistance, insisting that leaders must remain accountable to their promises.
Yesufu also pointed out that Obi’s stance on a single-term presidency was not a recent development, noting that he had consistently maintained the position even before the 2023 general election, adding that she had personally discussed the issue with him
