The Nigeria Labour Congress in Rivers State, says workers in the state have reasons to celebrate this year’s Workers Day.
Chairman of NLC in the state, Alex Agwangwor in a statement said the outgoing administration has given some parting gifts to Rivers Workers, especially Civil Servants.
According to him, the release of workers promotion which was held for years, and the ongoing employment of 10,000 youths into the state Civil Service are enough reasons for Workers to celebrate.
Agwangwor also said he will continue to fight for the interest of workers in the state.
