Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike’s Special Assistant on Electronic Media Simeon Nwakaudu is dead. Nwakaudu died today after a brief illness at the Rivets State University Teaching Hospital.
Commissioner for information and communication, Paulinus Nsirim made this known in a statement today.
Meanwhile Governor Wike has expressed shock over the sudden death of Mr. Simeon Nwakaudu, whom he described as a loyal and dedicated professional who contributed immensely to the implementation of the The New Rivers Vision.
Gov Wike prayed God almighty to grant his family the fortitude to bear the great loss. He, on behalf of his family, the government and good people of the State condoled with the bereaved family.
Stakeholders have continued to express shock over Simeon’s demise. Some have said it is a huge loss to the people of the state as he was a hardworking young man who was passionate about the development of the state. He will be greatly missed, one of them said.
