A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has fixed May 31 for judgment in a suit filed by the Rivers state, Governor. Nyesom Wike praying for an order restraining the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from suspending or expelling him from the party.
The date was fixed by Justice James Omotosho Today, after counsel to the governor, Dr Joshua Musa, SAN, and lawyer to the PDP, Johnson Usman, SAN, adopted their processes and presented their arguments for and against the suit.
Wike is currently having a running battle with the leadership of the party and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
