Following the recommendation of the National Judicial Council, the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike will on Monday the 6th day of February 2023 swear-in Five(5) Hon. Judges of the High Court and two Hon. Judges of the Customary Court of Appeal.
Chief Registrar of the High Court of the state, David Ihua-Maduenyi, Esq. in a statement said the event will take place at the Executive Council Chamber of the Government House, Port Harcourt by 10:00 AM.
Those to be sworn-in as judges of the High Court are: Asivosuo Maccarthy Oriye, Comfort Awaji Adangor, Beauty Emmanuel-Okere, Omonigho Nwibani and Prince Chika Mini. While Odiki Daniel Kalio and Tetenwi Ngeli Elerabari are to be sworn-in as judges of the Customary Court.
