Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State says he is losing weight because of the magnitude of work he does.
Wike, who disclosed this in a statement yesterday, said he is doing everything possible to fulfil all the campaign promises he made.
He stated that his administration has delivered the dividends of democracy to the people of the state who are happy with him.
For that, he said everybody is jostling to be Governor, because he has cleared the road and they know what he has done in the state.
“Anybody that is taking over from us, know that we have campaigned for the person. The campaign is over. That is why everybody is jostling to be governor because they know what I have done. I have cleared the road, so everybody is saying I want to be governor.”
Wike also vowed not to abandon the Trans-Kalabari road despite attempts by some hoodlums who kidnapped workers handling the multi-billion Naria project.
He also urged people of the state to continue to support his administration till he leaves office in 2023.
