Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has reacted to claims that he is building flyovers across the state to steal money.
The Governor, while speaking during the commissioning of the newly constructed Senate building of the Rivers State University, said the statement is from those who do not mean well for the state.
He asked such persons what they would do if he refused to build the flyovers and eat the money.
“Some people say ‘I am building flyovers to chop money’ if I don’t build and chop the money, what will you do?” he said.
“They say I am developing the state to chop money, what about those who didn’t develop the state and chop money?” he added.
Wike stated that his administration would continue to improve the quality of education in the state, no matter what.
