Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Dr Tammy Danagogo says the vision of Governor, Nyesom Wike is to make Rivers State a World class oil and gas capital.
Danagogo who made this known in a chat with Journalists in his office in Port Harcourt, on Wednesday, said the Governor is building a 21st century world class state that can compete with any other in the world.
He said the Governor’s desire is to make Rivers State and its capital a befitting oil and gas capital of Nigeria, like Houston and Texas is to the United States of America.
He noted that Governor Wike is a strategic visionary who is looking at the state from a very broad and far reaching perspective.
“The Governor is not just looking at Rivers State and Portharcourt of yesterday or today but where Rivers State should be in the next ten years and beyond. His desire is to make Rivers State and Port Harcourt a befitting oil and gas capital of Nigeria like Texas and Houston…” he said.
