Niger Delta activist, Asari Dokubo has accused Governor Nyesom Wike of developing Ikwerre communities while neglecting oil producing communities, in the state.
Asari who disclosed this in a chat with Journalists yesterday, alleged that Wike is an Igbo man claiming not to be Igbo, just to deceive Ijaws and other ethnic minorities in Rivers State.
“Nyesom Wike is claiming to be a Niger Deltan even when Ikwerre doesn’t have a drop of oil in their land,” he said.
“Even his fellow Igbo communities like Obigbo, Etche, Ndoni, Omoku, Andoni, Egbema, Ahoada,Ogba and Oguta produce oil except the so called Ikwerre,” he added.
He also said that the Ikwerre ethnic nationality, is the only region in Rivers State, that does not produce oil but continues to rule the State.
He stated that Ikwerre is Fulani of Rivers State because they produce nothing but benefit everything.
He called on the Governor to develop oil producing communities that have made the State, the Treasure Base of the nation.
