Elder statesman and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Bode George, has launched a fresh attack on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, saying the minister should undergo a psychiatric evaluation over his recent remarks.
Speaking during an interview on Arise News, George dismissed Wike’s allegations that he is the “father of corruption” and that his Abuja residence was acquired with funds from Rivers State.
The elder statesman said he would not lower himself to engage in a war of words with Wike, whom he described as being young enough to be his son. Instead, he said he would seek legal redress over the allegations.
George also criticized the FCT Minister, saying Wike’s conduct was consistent with someone who has been publicly disowned by his father.
He further advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be cautious about those around him, warning that individuals such as Wike should not be among the President’s close associates.
