The Rivers State Government has reacted to the statement by the Rivers APC, that the Policies of the Wike administation are skewed and uncharitable.
The Rivers APC, had in a statement through its spokesperson, Ogbonna Nwuke slammed the state government for awarding a ninth flyover in the state.
In a swift reaction, the State Commissioner for Information and Information, Ogbonna Nwuke, through his Special Assistant on media, Amieyeofori Ibim blasted the party for the claims, stating that they are naive and disconnected with governance and the development of the state.
He said the Governor is being hailed for the flyovers, and that Rivers people are even calling for a tenth flyover in the state.
Nwuke said the Governor has nothing to prove to the opposition, as Rivers people are happy with him for his developmental strides, across the state.
He also said the hardship, suffering and insecurity, which Nigerians are suffering today and the utter sense of hopelessness which pervades the whole country, is as a result of the failure of the APC led Federal Government.
