The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has celebrated his daughter, Jazmyne Wike, following her graduation with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree with Upper Second-Class Honours from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom.
In a statement shared on Thursday, Wike expressed delight over the achievement, describing it as a proud moment for him and his wife.
He said, “I celebrate and rejoice with my daughter, Jazmyne, who yesterday, earned a Bachelor of Laws (Upper Second-Class Honours) degree from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom.”
The former Rivers State governor added, “I and my darling wife are so elated to have witnessed that moment of joy of parenthood. Jazmyne, thank you for making us proud.”
Wike also appreciated those who attended the graduation ceremony despite their busy schedules, including the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa.
“I thank my friend and brother, His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the BoT Chairman of our party, the PDP, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, and others who attended the graduation ceremony, not minding their busy schedule. You will always receive happiness from your children,” Wike stated.
