Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has approved the use of the Yakubu Gowon stadium in Port Harcourt for presidential campaign rally of Bola Ahmed Tinubu on February, 15 2023.
A chieftain of the party and Coordinator of Tinubu Campaign Organization in the state, Tony Okocha who made this known in a statement yesterday, said Wike also waived the five million Naira fee proscribed by the Executive Order 21.
Okocha who commended the governor for the gesture said they are not in support of the call for a state of emergency in the state.
He urged Rivers residents to come out in their numbers for the rally, and vote for Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential election as he has what it takes to transform the nation.
