Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, Enefaa Georgewill says the 7-day ultimatum issued to the Department of State Security, DSS, to end the fuel crises witnessed in the state expired last night.
Enefaa who made this known in a statement yesterday, said protest resumes on the 15th of January 2023 to force the relevant agencies to intervene in the matter.
“The Ultimatum For DSS To Intervene On The Fuel Crisis In Rivers State Expires This Night. Protest Resumes 15th February, 2023,” he said.
The RIVCSO chair had during a peaceful protest in Port Harcourt issued a 7-day ultimatum to the DSS to end the fuel crises in the state, as they would barricade the gate of the NNPCL if they fail to do so.
