The Rivers State Police Command has denied sealing the office of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC in Port Harcourt.
Spokesperson of the command, Grace Koko in a statement said the Police only took over the Secretariat to protect it from attacks due to the October 1, protest.
Koko also denied report of attacks on protesters by the Police on Monday, describing it as false.
She said the Command will ensure the protection of lives and property of Rivers people at all times.
