Popular Nigerian comedian, KOBaba Jonsern has said that he decided not to leave the city of Port Harcourt for Lagos, like his other colleagues because he wanted to project the city and the South South region to the world, and to also create the needed platform for creative minds.
KOBaba, made this known when he appeared on Channels TV Morning Brief Today, after one of the presenters sought to know why he decided to stay back in the city.
According to him, he has no plans no leave the city as the growth and success of so many persons are tied to his programmes.
The comedian cum activist, who narrated the struggles creatives in the region face, called for media visibility, and support for the entertainment industry from the government.
He urged the government and corporate organizations to look beyond Lagos and Abuja and ensure other regions get the needed support to grow their craft.
