Chairman of the Rivers State Taskforce on Sanitation, Isoboye Jack has called on the media to partner the Agency in tackling the waste management menace in the state.
Isoboye Jack in a meeting with media houses yesterday in Port Harcourt, said they cannot do it alone.
According to him, a lot of information needs to be sent out to sensitize the people on waste disposal.
He also said that a lot of receptacles must be created for people to dump waste, adding that dumping of refuse on the median strip is not acceptable.
Mr jack noted that clean up of the state will continue this week, and that before the end of the week, all waste on the road will be evacuated.
