Security men at Community Secondary School, Mgbuoshimini in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State have issued a 2-week ultimatum to the school and the government to pay them their salaries.
The security personnel made this known after a meeting with officials of the state Ministry of Education, Today.
They had yesterday, blocked the entrance of the school and threatened to completely shut down the school today, if the relevant authorities fails to comply.
One of them, Chijioke Chukwu said they took the action to draw the attention of the community and the government to their plights.
He said they later opened the gate after some of the teachers intervened and promised to address the issue.
