The University of Port Harcourt has appointed Prof. Andrew Efemini as Vice Chancellor Academics of the institution.

Management of the school disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

Efemini, a former Dean of Student Affairs was chosen for his leadership qualities and commitment to the development of the school, a source confirmed.

Efemini, was once suspended from the school, after he was alleged to have thrown support for students’ agitation.
