A Group known as the Ogoni People’s Assembly, OPA, and various Civil Society Organizations says it is set to block the East West road on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
This is following the expiration of its 14-day ultimatum issued to the Federal Government to fix the failed portion of the Road.
Leader of the group, Celestine Akpobari disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
He said the peaceful protest would begin from Monday July 26, 2021 to force the Federal Government to address their plights.
