Minister of Works, David Umahi, has signed the nomination form of President Bola Tinubu, endorsing his bid for a second term in 2027.
Umahi said the move reflects his commitment to consolidating the administration’s achievements, particularly in road construction and rehabilitation, which he described as vital to economic growth. He added that the government has laid a strong foundation for continued development and expressed confidence in Tinubu’s ability to complete key projects.
The minister also urged Nigerians to support continuity in leadership to achieve long-term national goals.
Earlier, James Faleke obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) expression of interest and nomination forms on behalf of the president in Abuja, signalling the start of the re-election process.
