In what has been described as a’Major breakthrough’, scientists in the UK have identified a £5 drug that reduces COVID-19 deaths.
This medication, called Dexamethasone is said to reduce COVID-19-related deaths by a third for patients already on ventilation and a fifth for those in need of oxygen.
Dexamethasone has been in existence for about 60 years.
