Factional Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Chief Tony Okocha has described last Saturday’s Ward Congress across the 319 wards in the State as a resounding success.

Okocha disclosed this in a statement shortly after the exercise, despite accusations of trampling on the Rule of Law by the Emeka Beke-led faction.

According to him, with the successful conclusion of the ward Congress, the LG and State Congresses are next.

“With the successful conclusion of the ward congress yesterday, we now look forward to the Local Government Congress on November 23 and the State Congress on November 30, 2024

“The APC in Rivers State is united, well-organized, and formidable under the leadership of Sir Chief Tony C. Okocha,” he said.
